Wearing a brace in your forties? tough one, right? - I never thought it would be for me either. My reason for orthodontics treatment was not a purely cosmetic one. Granted, I never loved my bottom row of teeth and was always a bit self conscious about them in photos - but like most was never aware much could be done about them - and I didn't want to go down the implant route just yet. However, over time my teeth started feeling what I can best describe as a constant "pressure" and were difficult to clean and especially floss. I mentioned to Mr Murphy and the subject of orthodontics came up and he explained how we could look to straighten and reposition my bite using braces. I took the plunge and went for it.There's no point in dressing up the fact braces can difficult and a real pain (literally). You eat/bite differently, you get pinch points and catch gums on edges. You need to be careful what you eat (which may not be the worst thing). It takes a fair amount of resilience to see it through. You are definitely on a fairly substantial "journey", it's no quick-fix. Mine took over 18 months and lots of visits and adjusting with various wires and bands - but trust the fact you are in good hands. Raymond was thorough, patient and incredibly accommodating throughout. His time, support and expertise were invaluable.Good news is - it is worth it, well worth it. The results for me have been a revelation and I could not be happier. My smile has been transformed and I don't have the uncomfortable feeling of pressure after eating. If any of this may relate to you - have a chat with the dentist next time your are in, I promise it will be worth it.
Myself and girlfriend both had Invisalign braces/treatment done by Raymond and we are ecstatic with our results. We are both really fussy and perfectionists and the results have exceeded our expectations. Raymond was brilliant and delivered everything he promised at the start which was a perfect new smile.
Just had the new Airflow Technology with hygienist Anne . Wow what a difference! My teeth and gums feel amazingly clean and healthy and look as good as tooth whitening. Would definitely recommend this procedure at Bothwell Dental Care.
I have just completed 12months of cosmetic dental surgery which included implants from Mr Murphy and his team. It would be very accurate to say that Raymond and all his team including Mr Bruce have an amazing talent within their field of dentistry. There are no words to say how delighted I am with the end results of the last 12 months. Although the journey felt long at times I am so glad I decided to do this.
